This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
That's so exciting! Don’t worry I will guide you through the entire process. First, just come with an open mind and be ready to have fun.
A few things to keep in mind:
Wear something you feel comfortable and confident in your outfit can make a big difference in how you feel during the shoot. We’ll likely start with some simple, natural poses to help you get comfortable in front of the camera. I’ll direct you throughout, so no need to worry about knowing exactly what to do!
If you’re feeling nervous, it’s totally normal! A little bit of nerves usually means you're excited, and we can work with that energy. Relax, smile, and most importantly, enjoy the experience! I’m here to make sure you look your best and have a great time doing it. If you have any specific concerns or ideas for the shoot, feel free to share those too! I want this to be a positive and memorable experience for you.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Great question! Travel expenses are typically included for shoots within the Sacramento area. If we're shooting a bit farther out, like in the surrounding areas or outside the city, I may need to charge a small travel fee depending on the distance. I’ll always make sure to let you know in advance if there are any additional costs, so there are no surprises. Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely! Sacramento has a lot of great spots depending on the vibe you're going for. If you're looking for a natural, scenic backdrop, we have gorgeous parks like the American River Parkway or the beautiful flower fields at the Sacramento Historic City Cemetery. For a more urban feel, we could head to the vibrant Downtown area, with its murals and architecture, or even Old Sacramento for that charming, historic look. If you have a specific vision in mind, let me know, and I can help narrow down the perfect spot for your shoot!"
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
Great question! If the weather doesn’t cooperate on the day of the shoot, we have a couple of options. We can reschedule to a different day if you’re flexible, or we can move the shoot to an indoor location that fits your vision. I’ll keep an eye on the forecast leading up to the shoot and we can make a decision together as the day approaches. My goal is to make sure we capture beautiful photos, no matter the weather!"
